It's tempting to say the outspoken Grammy Award-winning musical artist and the award-winning actor who became famous after his role in the ultimate love story, The Notebook, have little in common but their celebrity status, but you'd be wrong. These stars are also dads — and they've shown their love for their little girls with none other than tattoos!

This week, Kanye West inked his wrist in Roman numerals marking his daughter's birthday. He also honored his late mother, Donda West, tattooing her birthday on his other wrist. According to MTV, his wife, Kim Kardashian, reportedly talked him out of placing the tattoos on his face — to which we say, smart move!

Meanwhile, E! News spotted Ryan Gosling out on the town, with fresh ink — literally, it could be from a pen — on the fingers of his left hand, spelling out his daughter's nickname: Esme.

West and Kardashian welcomed North West back in June 2013. The married couple are reportedly building their soon-to-be two-year-old a massive playground in the backyard of their Hidden Hills, California, home, according to Entertainment Tonight.

Gosling and girlfriend Eva Mendes had daughter Esmeralda Amada in September. The couple chose her name to honor Mendes' Hispanic heritage, as well as a favorite book, The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Her first name translates to "beautiful emerald," while her middle name means "beloved."

But it gets cuter. A friend recently told E! News, "Ryan sings to the baby. He loves it. Sometimes he'll make up his own songs and include her name in them. It's very sweet."

Different Bouquet Shapes, Decoded

Not all wedding bouquets are created equally. There's more to a bunch of bridal blooms than you'd think. And besides choosing a variety of flower types to fill your bridal bundle, there's a good number of shapes to choose from for how they're arranged. Here, what the different bouquet shapes are and how to choose which one's right for you!

When it comes to bouquet arrangements, there are four main shapes you can choose: Nosegay, Arm Bouquets, Sprays, and Cascades.

Nosegays are you traditional round arrangement. More importantly, they're densely arranged like the more formal classic bouquets you see brides carry. Nosegays can be arranged in any size you like, whether it's a posy or a regular bouquet size. There are also some nosegays that are arranged by rings of flowers, so each ring includes only one type of flower — the choice is obviously up to you!

Arm bouquets are exactly what their name implies: long bouquets in a rounded arrangement that's made to sit perfectly inside your arm. Since they are large and long, they go best with longer gowns.

Spray bouquets, on the other hand, are triangular arrangements clustered together. Like Nosegays, they can be carried at any type of wedding and with any type of gown.

Cascade bouquets have become increasingly popular because they're extremely romantic and don't have a specific shape. These bouquets do exactly what their name suggests: they cascade downward. Usually to aid the trailing effect they're embedded with extra greens and a variety of blooms to create the most dramatic effect.

Wedding Night Quips

Have the maid of honor or another bridesmaid write down the bride's comments as she's opening her gifts. At the end, read them back to her, prefacing them with 'This is what (Bride's name) will say on her wedding night.' It can get pretty funny, especially if you don't tell her ahead of time what you're planning (otherwise she might be too careful about what she says!).

Natalie Portman Sienna Miller Diane Kruger Beauty Looks

Natalie Portman perfects smoky brown eye makeup, Sienna Miller goes for an Audrey Hepburn-inspired style, and Diane Kruger makes pink lips and cheeks look super chic. Here, the celebrity beauty looks we loved this week.

Natalie Portman at the 2015 Vanity Fair Oscar Party: Strong eye makeup was the focal point of this look, said Dior makeup artist Fiona Styles. She defined Natalie's brows with a brown pencil, lined her eyes with matte brown kohl eyeliner, and layered shimmery brown eye shadows to bring out her eyes. (Always use the darker shades at the lid and the lighter shades as you get farther out.) A bright, fuchsia blush (she used Diorblush Vibrant Color Powder Blush in Star Fuchsia) added a flush to the cheeks, and pale pink lipstick kept the look fresh.

Sienna Miller at the 2015 Academy Awards: Audrey Hepburn was the inspiration behind Sienna's beauty look, so a cat eye, naturally, was in order. Makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury used a black kohl liquid eye pencil and a fine-tipped liquid eyeliner pen to define the lash lines, and then applied brown eye shadow up to the creases. (Tip: Apply mascara carefully and slowly to ensure you get long, fluttery lashes, and then comb through with a disposable mascara wand to eliminate clumps.) Tilbury used a bronzer and highlighter palette to contour: She swept bronzer along the hollows of the cheeks and jawline, and added highlighter to the cheekbones. Then, to bring out Sienna's natural lip color, she applied rosy nude lip liner and lipstick. Hepburn transformation complete.

Diane Kruger at the 2015 Elle Style Awards: Diane matched her pale pink Chanel Couture gown to her makeup, which, needless to say, is definitely not a faux pas. Subdued eye makeup, tons of rosy blush, and pink lipstick brightened up Diane's fair complexion. And, if you're still looking for day-of hairstyles for your lob, try Diane's just-mussed-enough curls. Complete with a slightly off-kilter side part, it's the perfect look for relaxed, afternoon nuptials.

So Sweet! How Former Bachelor Jason Mesnick Surprised Wife Molly on Their Fifth Anniversary

Redemption at last! Jason and Molly Mesnick are often touted as one of the Bachelor franchise's most successful love stories (they're now married with a daughter), but you may remember that when they first found each other it was actually quite scandalous. Why? Jason gave his final rose to Melissa Rycroft — not Molly — and broke off his engagement to her during the After the Final Rose special, forever vilifying his Bachelor run.

Because Molly was the runner-up, she didn't receive the famed Neil Lane ring every affianced Bachelor contestant gets. Now, five years later, Jason is making it up to her with some brand-new Neil Lane bling in honor of their fifth anniversary!

"Molly was the only one who didn't have a ring of mine and Jason really wanted to change that," Neil Lane told People after designing the upgraded sparkler Mesnick gave his wife as a surprise for their fifth anniversary.

The ring is a 2.5 oval-cut stunner set in a platinum double-halo, while the band is rose gold. "Molly is very sweet and feminine and the rose gold is so romantic," the celebrity jewelry said of his latest design. "They're one of the nicest, sweetest couples I know and he's madly in love with her. This was such a sweet way to celebrate their love and marriage."

Happy Anniversary babe. I love you forever.

"I am just beyond thrilled that Molly finally gets her Neil Lane ring!" Mesnick chimed in of his anniversary surprise. "Women who receive a ring from him on The Bachelor — or away from the show — know how truly fortunate they are. I am [so happy] to be able to give Molly this ring for our five year anniversary."

Everything You Need to Know About Who Gives a Toast and When

Etiquette, Wedding Etiquette, Wedding Receptions  Comments Off on Everything You Need to Know About Who Gives a Toast and When

Toasts are not as simple as raising a glass and saying a few kind words. Tradition calls for some standards to pouring the champagne, order of whose speaking, and who may offer up some thoughts based on the type of reception you're throwing. Here, every toast technicality you should keep in mind before you hold your reception.

First thing's first: Pouring champagne for toasts is totally dictated by what type of reception you're throwing. If you're throwing a more formal, sit-down reception, the bubbly will be doled out once everyone is seated. If you're having a cocktail reception where some guests may be standing while others sit, it'll be served once everyone's made their way through the receiving line.

The first person to stand up and give a toast is the best man. When anyone is giving a toast everyone stands except for the bride and groom. Next, the maid-of-honor may go, and then it's likely that both fathers would like to say something. At this point other family members and bridal party members may want to express a few well wishes as well, but it's up to them. If someone is solely toasting the bride, though, the groom should stand and visa versa. If the bride and groom wish to make a toast to the guests, they can stand together but should not speak at the same time, rather take turns saying their thoughts. Fun fact: Tradition calls for the bride and groom to smile while everyone makes a toast but not to drink. Don't worry though, we won't tell if you choose to sip on your bubbly.
