Miami Bachelorette Party

They say, "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas," but after a blow-out bachelorette party in on of these Miami hotspots, you'll most likely be saying the same thing. There's a reason why even celebrities head south to celebrate their upcoming nuptials dancing the night away in Miami's nightclubs — spearheaded by some of the top DJs in the world — with doors that stay open even after the sun comes up. Here are your top spots for bachelorette nightlife with your girls in Miami.

Mokai Lounge
Nightclubs are always changing in Miami, but Mokai's debaucherous d*écor has made it a constant on the scene. Imagine your very own Vegas-style club full of erotic carnival scenes, from a merry-go-round-inspired bar to carousel horses spread throughout, and even a "happy ending photo booth."

LIV
When it comes to over-the-top clubs, LIV at the Fontainebleau is always first on the list, bringing a roster of DJs and artists — ranging from Steve Aoki to Lil Wayne and Lil Jon to host the party. Dress code is strict here and the bouncers are known to be selective, so guarantee entry by booking a booth for you and the ladies up in the mezzanine — where you'll have prime views of the scene unfolding down below.

WALL
WALL at W South Beach draws celebs on a regular basis (with Paris Hilton playing DJ on occasion), but it's also known to provide the ultimate bachelorette party setting — and was the spot where Paris Hilton hosted her sister Nicky's bachelorette soirée. Brides-to-be love the handsome staff of male models working behind the bar (and will revel in the VIP access granted to the entire party). The lady of honor can also join the DJ behind the booth where she'll receive a very special shout-out that's sure to kick off the night on just the right note.

E11EVEN MIAMI
After getting the party started with cocktails at Touché Rooftop Lounge, make your way down to Miami's only 24-hour club, the expansive E11EVEN, where any night of the week you may find high-profile DJs like Skrillex and Diplo working the room. Settle into one of the seven private VIP rooms that can fit up to 20 of your girlfriends and get ready for one of the city's sexiest scenes, surrounded by aerialists, go-go dancers and Cirque-style shows.

Libertine
One of the newer spots in Miami, Libertine doesn't come with all the fanfare of the larger clubs, and that's exactly the point. The intimate downtown space fills up fast with bottle service at the booths lining the wall and dancing in the center in a space that looks equal parts speakeasy and snazzy hunting lodge.

BASEMENT
Brides looking for more than just a dance floor will love the Studio 54-inspired BASEMENT at Ian Schrager's EDITION hotel, with its underground bowling alley and ice skating rink with light shows matching the music where the party goes on until the sun comes up.

FDR at Delano
The underground den at Delano is a sultry 1970s-inspired discotheque with sleek enclaves prime for sipping champagne and toasting to your upcoming nuptials with the ladies. Of course, as the night goes on, the crowd gets livelier — with DJs taking over the dance floor and a crowd of Miami Heat basketball stars, rappers, and actors mixing and mingling.

Rockwell
Miami nightlife icon Chris Paciello's latest venture strays from the megaclub scene for a more exclusive crowd and setting that welcomed the likes of Lenny Kravitz and Leonardo DiCaprio when it opened over Art Basel. Get ready for a party just as sexy but on a much smaller scale with plenty of Burlesque-style dancing and bottle service.

Miami has become is a natural choice for your bachelorette party escape. Brides-to-be are opting for this beachside oasis that's the perfect mix of Mexico by day and Las Vegas by night. While you and your bridesmaids will need to create the perfect party itinerary, we've got the perfect packing list covered.

"You'll get a lot of mileage from a flowy, gauzy maxi dress that can be a beach cover up by day and a dress by night," says Miami-based travel blogger Shayne Benowitz, the blogger behind the Wanderlust Chameleon. Anything you and your girls can wear with both flip flops and pumps is a must-bring. Of course that leaves more room in your suitcase for any last minute purchases — Miami has amazing shopping after all.

Benowitz recommends ViX swimwear, for super sexy bikinis that fit so well you won't have to worry about any wardrobe malfunctions if water sports are on the schedule.

After lounging beachside all day you and your girls will want to get dressed up, and there's no better compliment for your newly tanned skin than a classic LBD. According to Benowitz, the smaller the better "Even if it feels scandalous at home, you'll fit right in in Miami," said Benowitz. "Also, sky high heels — if you're hitting the clubs in South Beach, these are mandatory."

Opt for your comfiest already broken-in pumps, you'll want to make sure you can dance the night away.

To make sure you and your girls are ready for anything, enlist your most type-A bridesmaid to help you plan your outfits day by day. This is essential to make sure you're prepared for anything that comes your way.

When planning your outfits remember — it's a fun girls weekend. You have an excuse to break out your most fun outfits, Miami may be sexy but it's also always on trend. "You'll never be out of place in a bandage dress and platform heels. However, there's a more fashion forward set here who loves experimenting with new styles," Benowitz said. This is the perfect time to rock that Taylor Swift crop-top and skater skirt combo, or a little sundress with white sneakers that will make your whole group look like off duty models.

Just remember &,dash; you're going to be out in the sun (and probably nursing a hangover) and Ray-Bans go with everything.

It's no secret French women have the most enviable natural style! Everything is done with sheer grace and finesse, and the Parisian's take on fashion is no different. Why not channel that certain je ne sais quoi for your wedding events? We've gathered inspo from
The City of Light's chicest mademoiselles to give brides-to-be a lesson on how to dress like a French girl, from the engagement party to the honeymoon.

Engagement Party
If there's one thing we should take away from French girl style it's the way they carry their confidence! Nothing is over the top, they don't need to wear the highest heel, or a risqué dress to be sexy. They know a little skin and sheer here or there is sometimes all that's needed to do the trick. Definitely follow their lead and go for a dress with a feminine shape, like a bodice, but full skirt, or a slinky dress with a sheer, lace overlay.

Wedding Shower
What's chicer than a shrugged jacket? Perhaps one that's slung in a feminine print or shape with an effortless dress to boot. It's your wedding shower, so you can be a bit more girly and garden inspired. The look is as easy as it is charming!

Bachelorette Party
Just because French women are known for their effortless chic aesthetic, it doesn't mean they don't slay evening glam like the best of them. Mimic their night-out-on-the-town ensembles by sticking with the French girl uniform of choise, a sleek LBD — little black dress — or jumpsuit, and pair it with a fun jacket to keep things bachelorette-y.

Rehearsal Dinner
After all the hair-pulling planning, you've made it to the rehearsal dinner — the night before the wedding! Take advantage of there being no guests to over impress, just your closest friends and family, and go with the most infamous French woman outfit — a blouse and pants. The blouse is always slightly oversized and for this occasion go with a silk top and embellished accessories to elevate the look!

Honeymoon
We don't know where you plan on heading for your honeymoon, but we do know once you arrive, there's a category of garments that every bride will need no matter the location — lingerie. While American women tend to think the more elaborate the sexier, our Parisian counterparts think its less about straps and strings and more about showing your gorgeous shape. Curvier woman look stunning in higher waisted, lace-detailed sets, while slimmer straight hips look more alluring in low bikini/string bottoms and low-cut demi bras. Either way forget the fuss and complicated pieces, a simple sultry black lace set will not disappoint.

It's almost here! As your big day approaches, you want to make sure every detail has been addressed. If you are inviting out-of-town guests to your wedding weekend extravaganza in or around Chicago, you'll need to have some suggested things to do during their downtime. It's always thoughtful to provide your guests with a list of local attractions and activities they might enjoy while in town for the wedding. Below are some fun Chicago happenings that your guests are sure to love.

Chicago Architecture River Tour
Depending on the time of year of your wedding, Chicago's architectural boat tours are not to be missed. It is an unforgettable way to both ride along the Chicago River while also learning about the exquisite architecture that makes up the Windy City. Several companies offer them, and most even have a bar onboard, so your friends and family can enjoy a mimosa while admiring the stunning views.

Dressing Downton
Now through mid-May, the city's Driehaus Museum is hosting an exhibit that both history buffs and Downton Abbey lovers will thoroughly enjoy. Several of the show's costumes are on display for the public in a special exhibit. And, if your wedding weekend happens to fall after May, the museum is still a must-see, as it's housed in an elaborate 19th century mansion near the Magnificent Mile.

French Market
For your foodie guests, a trip to the Chicago French Market is definitely in order. Located next to the Metra station, this year-round indoor marketplace sells gourmet goods from all over the globe. Indulge in a creamy gelato from Black Dog or delicious crepes from FliP Creperie.

Art Institute & Millennium Park
Recently voted the best museum in the world (yes, the whole world!) by TripAdvisor, the Art Institute of Chicago is a must-see for all. Take your time strolling through the halls filled with ancient and modern art, and then take a quick jaunt over to nearby Millennium Park for a photo op with The Bean.

The Second City
Chicago is known for its superior theater scene, including Steppenwolf, Goodman, and of course, The Second City. This comedy improv troupe has fostered the talents of many famous comedians, and it's a perfect place for your guests to spend an evening laughing 'til it hurts.

Impress those guests! Head over to our Chicago Vendors page to see tons of wedding décor, flowers, and show-stopping favors for your big day!

What to Pack for a Pre-Wedding Mountain Getaway

Everyone knows that the honeymoon is the relaxation light at the end of the wedding planning tunnel. Just because you're in the midst of planning doesn't mean you can't escape for a romantic weekend with your fiancé right? (You actually really need the time to connect and remember what it's all really about!) So why not hit the slopes while you're still in time? Spring skiing anyone? And, because you've got enough on your plate we didn't want you to worry about making a packing list — we did that for you!

Luckily skiing is a sport that is best preformed when you wear your comfiest clothes; think athleisure meets Aspen. Even off the slopes your leggings are totally appropriate. "Skiing looks glamorous on the slopes but in terms of clothing it's quite a casual affair. Even the chicest après ski bars are very chilled out and relaxed in terms of dress code," said Jess Gibson the creator and editor of The Travelista. "Pack a few stylish or embellished jumpers for the evenings and faux fur accessories are perfect to add a hint of après-ski chic."

See More: 20 Honeymoon Destinations for Adventurous Couples

Your coziest off-the-slope outfits basically require your coziest boots. If you've discarded your Uggs from 2007 don't worry, pair your favorite over-the-knee black boots with black leggings and a faux-fur jacket and you've just gone from ski to chic. If you want to invest in mountain friendly boots, Gibson recommends checking out The North Face, they have tons of great snow-friendly boots for when you're not on the slopes.

And don't worry about packing any of your own gear — most mountain ranges and resorts allow you to rent equipment on site, that way you can make sure you're fitted by a professional. No one wants to deal with a sprained ankle at their wedding! "You're much better off bringing your own ski gloves, goggles and helmet as they're not expensive to buy and the price of these items in-resort are always ridiculously inflated," said Gibson. Grab your fiancé and head to any local sporting goods store and you'll be able to grab whatever you need, and he'll be glad to help you shop for something other than floral arrangements.

Besides, there's no better way to unwind from wedding planning stress than with hot chocolate with peppermint schnapps (you deserve it!) wrapped in a blanket in front of a roaring fire than with your fiancé is there?

'Twas the season for engagements, now, 'tis the season for engagement parties. While they may battle it out for the unofficial title of the "Sixth Borough," one thing we know for sure is that Hoboken & Jersey City have some pretty unique venues for engagement parties. We've compiled a list of our favorites to check out before the planning begins!

Kolo Klub (Hoboken)
This newly restored turn-of-the-century loft space is 4,000 square feet of versatile event space. Created by the founders of Hoboken's Pilsener Haus & Biergarten, this artsy space can accommodate between 25 to 150 guests, perfect for an intimate engagement celebration. Porta (Jersey City)
This relatively new establishment is known for its authentic Neapolitan pizza and in-house fresh mozzarella. Beyond its pizza and nightlife, Porta also hosts private events for between 20 and 175 guests. As a unique, eclectic space for your engagement party, Porta offers a variety of both spatial and seating options for your soireé, so your guests can enjoy craft cocktails, extensive cordial options, and of course, delectable pizzas and pastas. Mangia!

Amanda's (Hoboken)
For an intimate-yet-elegant engagement party, look no further than Amanda's in Hoboken. Offering 5 different party rooms for events from 10-90 people, this restaurant has been providing its guests with an elegant atmosphere, delicious meals (including the Duck Two Ways and the Truffle Tagliolini), and an extensive wine list for over 20 years. For parties of 12 or more, you can pre-select a personalized menu for your guests and workout the details with their manager to make your event a custom event to remember.

Zeppelin Hall (Jersey City)
If you're looking for a more casual and laid-back soiree, look no further than the Zeppelin Hall Biergarten. With several party options to choose from and a brand new private event space called the Rathskeller Room, this space is an authentic, European-style biergarten with both indoor and outdoor spaces to celebrate. Traditional biergarten fare includes a variety of schnitzels, gourmet grilled sausages, and giant pretzels along with many other options for your guests to dine on as they raise a stein (filled with beer from one of the 144 beer taps) to you and your new fiancé. Cheers!

engagement party look you can buy now

The fashion forward bride-to-be will probably feel the struggle of wanting to look over the top chic but also make sure the pictures at your engagement party are timeless. Your engagement party is the perfect time to take some sartorial risks. You and your fiancé are the stars of the show for your engagement party and this outfit will have all eyes on you. Since the look doesn't scream bridal, you'll totally be able to wear all these pieces again.

Neutrals have been ruling the runway and a jumpsuit is always daring. The choker neckline and keyhole cutout embodies the 90s inspiration all your favorite models (and street style stars) have been wearing. Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid are constantly spotted sporting choker necklines. The jumpsuit leg is more conservative which evens out the sexier neckline.

See More: How to Pull of An Engagement Party Turned Surprise Wedding

A strappy black pump perfectly accentuates the jumpsuit. The shoes are sleek and simple and will compliment the statement neckline. Go with a shoe that has an ankle strap to keep your feet from sliding (nobody wants to deal with post-party blisters after all). A mid-height heel will give you a long leg but be comfortable enough so you'll have no problem celebrating all night long.

Fashion girls everywhere are dying over capes this season. This simple black cape scarf will keep you warm and adds another layer to the jumpsuit. If you're worried the low neckline and backless top might be a bit too much for some of your more conservative guests — or you don't want to show too much skin in front of the future in-laws — a cape covers your back and shoulders without detracting from the chicness of the jumpsuit (it only adds on to the chic factor!).

Keep your jewelry as simple as possible — you don't want anything to take away from your ring do you? But a gold cuff is simple and stylish, the perfect way to top off your outfit.

Accurately titled "Wedding Bells," this clutch is the perfect bag to top off your outfit. The gold glitter adds sparkle to your outfit. And you can even use it again during your wedding — win win!
