Monique Lhuillier Best Look Fall 2015

It's that time of year again! Bridal Fashion Week is here, which means you're about to get flooded with gorgeous wedding dresses. With Spring 2016 just beginning, we're getting pumped up to see what all of our favorite bridal designers like Monique Lhuillier, Reem Acra, Oscar de la Renta and more have to offer this season. To kick off the season, we're taking a look back at some of the best gowns from the Fall 2015 bridal runways.

Monique Lhuillier (above)
Monique Lhuillier never disappoints, but this ornate rose gold embroidered gown with a cape was abundantly regal and refined. The insane amount of beading made it a perfect fit for her collection jewel box-inspired designs. A modern-day princess would be lucky to wear this gown.

Reem Acra Best Look Fall 2015

Reem Acra
Crop tops have been a trend for the past few runway seasons, but we love how Reem Acra put a romantic spin on an inherently modern silhouette. Scalloped edges and floral embroideries — to match her runway's blooming buds — were the perfect way to glam up this two-piece up.

Oscar de la Renta Fall 2015

This was almost the same dress Amal Alamuddin wore to wed George Clooney. 'Nuff said.

Honor for Stone Fox Bride
For their first-ever collection Honor for Stone Fox Bride killed it with their unique laser-cut florals. Modern-meets-feminine, these contemporary designs were simultaneously unique and timeless.

Inbal Dror's Fall 2015 collection provided an overflow of absolutely stunning gowns. But this off-the-shoulder dress hit a soft spot with its mix of intricate details and sweet silhouette.

If there's one designer who knows how to turn contemporary, ready-to-wear trends into wedding-worthy dresses it's Hayley Paige. This season's line was more current than ever with studded white leather mermaid gowns, a ton of cutouts at the waist, and, of course, crop tops. There were even some fully sheer skirts, geometric prints, chevron sequin-sheaths, and a ton of playful fringe.

Some new colors — like periwinkle, peach, blush, sky blue, even black — and more party-ready materials — such as leather, sequins, and studs — made this Hayley Paige collection one of the most fun yet.

With such daring, on-trend details, modern brides will be all over these designs. And yet, there were still some Hayley Paige signatures such as the flouncy tiered skirts, laser-cutouts, and horse-hair trims with a convertible look.

If you're looking for a luxe wedding dress design, Keren Craig and Georgina Chapman, the designers behind beloved label Marchesa, are your girls. For their Fall 2015 bridal collection, they showed intricate details, elegant silhouettes, a slew of sparkles and a whole lot of volume.

Never sacrificing glamour, Marchesa's latest range focused a lot on volume and texture. Soft ruffles ran down a number of silhouettes as thicker laces (laden with sparkles) and a ton of tulle were found amongst others. Shapes were reconstructed with triple-tiered skirts, and a few peplums.

Of course, lace was as important as ever for these two designers who revere romance. Dreamy florals were paired with flowing sheer skirts, delicate trumpets and regal high necks. Sophistication is a key word when it comes to Marchesa's looks, and this season didn't disappoint in that respect.

Dubbed "Soft Seduction," Rivini's Fall 2015 bridal runway show was full of subtle-meets-sexy details: From deep V-necks, to blouse-y lace sweatshirt-style tops with sheer backs and tiny cut-outs along the waist line, everything about this collection was as delicate as it was daring.

Full of airy fabrics like light laces, sheer chiffon, and the breeziest organza, Rivini's latest line of bridal gowns nearly floated down the runway. And yet, at the same time, it was incredibly modern with sequin-studded silhouettes, loose V-necklines atop curve-hugging mermaid skirts, and straight-cut turtleneck sheaths.

Naeem Khan may have only debuted his bridal collection three seasons ago, but since their premiere, his runway presentations are one of the most highly anticipated in the industry. Chock full of glamorous and unique details, tireless bead work, and modern silhouettes, his designs continue to push the wedding dress envelope with their creative takes on wedding dress standbys like lace, floral embellishments, and illusion necklines.

For Fall 2015, Naeem Khan went for a softer aesthetic, with solely white and ivory designs (last season he played with grays, silver and gold). He played with floral lace, the beloved trumpet silhouette, and romantic A-lines, whipping up a range of wedding dresses that would fulfill any bride's dream. Of course, there were a few standout fringe minis and transluscent liquid organza skirt that was just plain cool.

There's no denying that Reem Acra's Fall 2015 bridal runway show was utterly romantic. From the abundance of lush floral headpieces and shimmering lace details to the pretty-in-pink makeup and hanging laurels, the whole thing felt like an overgrown, whimsical garden. As the blooming accessories decorated the models, the vine-like embellishments joined them as one, making it look as if these blossoms were growing onto the models body in a really organic and gorgeous way.

But what made this show even more exciting was that it mixed the traditionally sweet touch of florals with the most modern silhouette styles in the market right now. Acra's signature intricate lace embellishments were coupled with some serious cutouts, crop tops, and sheer illusion necklines and insets. Our favorite, a bohemian lace crop top with sheer wide sleeves and scalloped hemline was worn over a matching skirt with a trailing tulle train.

Now, you can see the entire production come together. From how the hairstylists planted those buds in the models' updos to the application of the tickle-me-pink blush and lipstick, take a tour backstage with our behind-the-scenes video. It's not all mayhem, after all, you'll also get to witness some adorable stolen moments, like one makeup artist dancing while working and models taking selfies and making silly faces as they wait.

When it comes to wedding planning, former Bachelorette Andi Dorfman knows exactly where to start — her wedding dress! So naturally, she and fiancé Josh Murray attended Bridal Fashion Week this week to scope out all of the latest designs. We had a chance to sit down with the bride-to-be at the Mark Zunino Fall 2015 runway show to discuss her top picks from the runway and her dream gown.

As she works with legendary bridal salon Kleinfeld to find the perfect dress, Andi is pretty clear on what she wants to wear on her big day.

"I love the simplicity of a lot of dresses," Andi told Brides. "I love a chic and elegant feel. I like strapless a lot, I've always kind of thought that a fit-and-flare trumpet style would work great on my body. And definitely something with structured material."

"She has a very specific look in mind, which I think is great," Kleinfeld's Fashion Director Terri Hall told Brides of Andi's taste. "She wants something very clean. She wants something interesting and sexy, but she doesn't want a lot of embellishment or even any embellishment at all. She's really looking for a fit and flare and wants strapless. Nothing even too shiny, so I'm thinking something even in gazaar or mikado, it could even be maybe satin-faced organza."

One thing she definitely doesn't want? Bling.

"I haven't always been a huge fan of bling," Andi added. "But I will say, even seeing Mark Zunino's show, my favorite gown of his was this beaded, V-neck with deep plunge — it's unbelievable! — that's totally the opposite to what I would have thought. So I'm staying a little bit more open-minded than I thought I would."

It should come as no surprise, then, that her runway picks were a mix of both: The sleek aesthetic she's always imagined, plus a few game-changing show-stoppers. Here, Andi's top wedding dress picks from Bridal Fashion Week:

Andi Dorfman Wedding Dress Picks - Dennis Basso

Photo: Thomas Iannacone

Dennis Basso: "The Dennis Basso, I mean, come on. I love this plunging neckline. I feel like OK, if you put a plunging neckline with the flowy bottom, it's sexy-meets-sophisticated. Some of the dresses I think are just too low and too tight, that's not my look at all. I love this. I think it's sexy and elegant but still romantic and ethereal. I mean anything with pockets — pockets are amazing."

Andi Dorfman Wedding Dress Picks - Reem Acra

Photo: Thomas Iannacone

Reem Acra: "I love Reem Acra. This was one of my favorite dresses. I think it's a great take on a ball gown, because it's not as dramatic of a ball gown but it still has the shape. It's a little bit more relaxed and flowy and low-key than a normal ball gown."

Andi Dorfman Wedding Dress Picks - Badgley Mischka and Hayley Paige

Photos: Thomas Iannacone; George Chinsee

Badgely Mischka and Hayley Paige: "I'm loving the trend of red-carpet-meets-wedding. I feel like years ago you would've never seen mixed metals in a dress, you would never see leather. I mean there was like white leather this season! Who does that? It's amazing."

Andi Dorfman Wedding Dress Picks - Mark Zunino

Photos: Thomas Iannacone

Mark Zunino: "Mark did a plastic embroidered fabric, that's unheard of, but it looks amazing. So, I kind of like uniqueness of a wedding gown that just used to always be a white, lace, or beaded but is now becoming different and evolving."

How about what Josh wants to see his love wear walking down the aisle? "She's going to look beautiful regardless of what she wears. When it comes down to it, ultimately, it's her decision," the love-struck former pro-baseball player told Brides. Great answer!

Ever wonder how a runway show comes together? You're in luck: We recently stepped backstage at Amsale's Fall 2015 bridal runway show to give you a sneak peek at the harried moments before the models (and the wedding dresses) hit the catwalk. The results? A beautiful stop-motion video featuring a lot pins, swaths of fabric, models calmly waiting pre-show, and the line's designer, Amsale Aberra, examining the latest iteration of her beloved bridal looks.

Our exclusive video has a close-up look at everything that went on behind the scenes: The models' makeup, the romantic hairstyles, and the fabric on every dress. There's a zoomed-in view of the finale gown's gilded mesh halter neckline, and the textured, three-dimensional floral jacquard sweetheart A-line gown that stole our hearts the second it hit the runway. Some other favorites make an appearance, too, like one gown's romantic floral appliqués, and Amsale's show-stopping metallic, tiered lace wedding dress.

Besides a good look at the behind-the-scenes action, we have shots of the models walking the runway — so rather than sift through the pictures, you'll also get a good idea of how these gowns move. From the sleek, silk V-neck halter number, to a silk jacquard mermaid and the design house's signature crepe sheath, watch these stunning dresses make their way down the runway.

What are you waiting for? Check out the full video above, and don't forget re-live Amsale's latest collection in our complete slideshow. The past few months have been a whirlwind for former Bachelorette Andi Dorfman. From whittling down 25 suitors to just one lucky guy, Josh Murray, to getting engaged and then moving in together in Atlanta, these two are now ready to hit the ground running with wedding planning. And their first stop to start sorting out every little detail for their perfect big day? Bridal Fashion Week!

Amongst the many runway shows these two lovebirds attended hand-in-hand was Mark Zunino's Fall 2015 runway show yesterday at Kleinfeld in New York City. "This has been our first step right here," Andi told Brides of their planning process following the runway show. "I keep telling Josh and everyone everything revolves around the dress. So step number one is go start looking at dresses."

They're also considering the time and place of their nuptials, but haven't nailed down an exact date yet. Luckily, one location stands out in the running: Atlanta! Conveniently the two lived in the same city before coming on the Bachelorette. "I think we would ideally like for [the wedding] to be in Atlanta," Andi explained. "Our family is all on the east coast so that would be great to have it there. As far as when, we like spring, we like summer — the sooner the better. We're ready to roll."

They're not set on any décor or color scheme, but whatever they choose will be simple and sophisticated. "Josh and I want something that's chic and elegant, but unique," she explained.

One thing that is settled? Josh has free reign when it comes to food. "I will definitely be doing the food," Josh excitedly announced. "I will be taste testing everything. I will be drinking every form of alcohol just to make sure that's all clean and all good. The wines, I will make sure the wines are all great ..." The former pro-baseball player is open to other wedding tasks, too, adding, "Whatever de-streses her, though, I will help her out."

As for their family's involvements, one member will have a clear-cut role in the wedding: Josh's beloved dog Sabel! "We're trying to figure it out. Is she bringing down the rings or does Josh walk down with her?" Andi continued. "But Sabel will definitely be involved," Josh concluded.

And, for the question everyone has: Will the wedding be televised? "We don't know yet," Andi said. "We're totally into it though," Josh added. "We have a good followers, a lot of supporters and fans that would love to see it and we want to continue that journey and end it with them."

Fingers crossed that they will!
