Looking to jump-start your diet, clean up your complexion, or shed last-minute water weight before your big day? Try one of these editor-tested elixirs. (And learn about seven more juice cleanses in the complete slideshow!)
BEST FOR Regular cleansers who actually like the taste of real green juice—there's no sweetened fluff stuff here. (Also of note: With names like Kalefornia Dreamin' and Monkey Business, this program gets a shout out for the cutest names.)
WHAT WE LOVED The nut milks are delightful and satiating when intense hunger kicks in. Our favorite was Monkey Business, a mix of raw walnuts, bananas, coconut water and nectar.
RESULTS Our coffee-addicted tester may have just kicked her habit. "I had a pounding headache for two days," she says. "Just when I was about to sneak a cup, it went away! This experience makes me think I can give it up for good."
$65 per day; Rawpothecary
Glow Bio by Kimberly Snyder
BEST FOR Purists and devotees of Kimberly Snyder's The Beauty Detox Solution. (Drew Barrymore, Channing Tatum, and Owen Wilson are fans.)
WHAT WE LOVED No guesswork here: Names like Glowing Green Smoothie and Debloater Shot tell you exactly what each drink does for you. We especially loved the Baby Skin Booster smoothie, which contains a greatest-hits list of natural radiance boosters and age defiers (bee pollen, blueberries, coconut water).
RESULTS Our tester was so hooked, she wanted to keep juicing after her three days were up: "My clothes were looser, but the best part was the compliments I got on my glowing skin. Someone even said my eyes looked brighter!"
$60 per day; My Glow Bio
BEST FOR Whole Foods addicts hoping to rehabilitate breakout-prone skin.
WHAT WE LOVED Many of the juices contain skin-clarifying herbs used in Chinese medicine, like dandelion and burdock root. Our fave: the Warrior, a shake with omega-three-rich chia seed and raspberry.
RESULTS Each juice has a low glycemic index (translation: They aren't super sweet), which helped balance out our tester's blood sugar and did wonders for her skin. "My acne cleared right up," she says.
$60 per day; Urban Remedy
