Though this New York-based couple met as teenagers in boarding school and were friends for years, it wasn't until they reconnected in 2009 that their friendship evolved into the romance of a lifetime.

When it came time to plan their wedding, Catherine and Brian knew that her family's home in Jackson Hole would be the perfect place to celebrate their union. "It's not only a special place for my family, but also a retreat that Brian and I have loved throughout our relationship," says Cate. "The grand scale of Jackson Hole, combined with the intimacy of our family's 'Elk Camp', really demonstrated why this place is so special to us."

Brian and Catherine's goal? "To create the best dinner party we'd ever thrown," says the bride. For their wedding on August 25th, 2012, the couple juxtaposed the casual beauty of Jackson Hole with the modern sophistication of an event planned by self-proclaimed die-hard entertainers. But with only six months to plan, the bride and groom turned to Carrie Sartor of Lyndsey Hamilton Events to bring all the details together. "She kept our perspective focused on the right place: each other," says Catherine.

Modern Invitations and Welcome Bags

The couple's invitations were playful and modern, with an elegant twist. They used an elk's silhouette to decorate their guests' welcome bags, and carried the playful script throughout the printed materials.

Catherine's something old was her great-grandmother's cameo. Her something blue? "Brian gave me a gorgeous pair of aquamarine and diamond earrings as my wedding gift," she says.

Soft Bridal Bouquet

The bride's bouquet was left in the hands of florist Matthew Robinson, who created something soft and unique for the mountain-top ceremony. Roses, flowering basil, scabiosa pods, and begonias gave the bouquet lush texture.

Catherine chose her Vera Wang gown for the fabric. "There are five different types of lace and fabric used for the gown, and it's so incredible to look at. I fell in love with the texture," she says. A beaded belt added another layer of ornate detail.

The bridesmaids wore blush gowns from Amsale, and the groom and groomsmen were outfitted in classic tuxedos. Before the ceremony, the wedding party drove out to the top of a butte for photos that took advantage of the incredible views.

"Brian and I have loved E.E. Cummings since boarding school, so we had to use 'i carry your heart' in the ceremony," says Catherine. They also included readings from the Dalai Lama and Rogers and Hart.

The reception took place on the property's front lawn. "We tried to give guests a tour of the property throughout the day, moving from the ceremony's mountain views to riverside cocktails to the reception by the creek and woods," says Catherine. Textured linens contrasted elegantly with assorted vintage silver vases, lush blooms, and gray taper candles.

Dahlias, roses, hydrangeas, Andromeda, and fresh herbs like basil and oregano gave the centerpieces lots of visual interest and unique pops of color. Each guest's place featured a printed menu and sprigs of lavender.

The couple's wedding cake was "perfect for both of us," says Catherine. Layers of Tahitian vanilla cake, chocolate ganache, and raspberry jam were enrobed in Tahitian vanilla buttercream and topped with sugar flowers.

"One of my favorite parts of the evening was just before the reception," says Catherine. "We snuck away and watched as our guests excitedly filed into the tent. It was so touching to see them all come together for us." An evening full of laughter, delicious food, and lots of dancing was the ideal way for Catherine and Brian to begin their life together.

Anne-Marie and Michael's relationship began with a single red rose. After meeting while studying for exams in dental school, the couple attended a Halloween party together, where they shared their first kiss. The next day, Michael convinced Anne-Marie, who had dressed as a rose garden, that she had left part of her costume at the party, and that he would happily return it to her. Though she was convinced that she hadn't lost anything the night before, Anne-Marie invited Mike to stop by her apartment and drop it off. To her surprise, she opened her door to find Mike holding a single red rose. The flowers have become a theme of their relationship.

When it came time to propose, Mike knew he couldn't do so without roses. He set up ten dozen roses and 50 candles in his apartment with hopes of surprising Anne-Marie when she came by later that day. But she threw him a curve ball, asking him to come pick her up instead of meeting him at his apartment. So Mike improvised, leaving his apartment with the candles lit! He met Anne-Marie at a store nearby, where she continued to browse slowly while Mike did his best to stay calm. He finally convinced Anne-Marie to return to his apartment, which thankfully had not caught on fire, and she said yes! And so a single rose became the inspiration for Anne-Marie and Mike's elegant garden wedding with a hint of 1920's glam.

Though Anne-Marie has a background in fashion design and wanted to make her own dress, Mike convinced her to choose between planning the wedding and designing her dress, and the wedding won. She'd originally purchased two vintage dresses to re-work, should her dream dress prove to be elusive, but finally found exactly what she was looking for: a v-neck lace Vera Wang gown that allowed her to add some personal touches without building a dress from scratch. Anne-Marie paired her dress with metallic Kate Spade pumps, tying into the glam aspect of the wedding's theme.

Anne-Marie purchased two belts to wear with her dress so she could change her look slightly as the evening progressed. The layered tulle skirt and lace overlay were perfect for a wedding in the garden.

One of the updates Anne-Marie made to her gown was a lower back, which created a slinky 1920's feel. Pearl and crystal hair combs shimmered in the bride's retro-inspired updo.

Of course, Anne-Marie carried roses in her bouquet. Garden roses, ranunculuses, anemones, scabiosa pods and brunia berries in cream, light pink, fuchsia and silvery-green appeared to have been casually gathered from a rose garden. Michael's boutonniere was a fuchsia ranunculus and white anemone, wrapped with gold ribbon.

On the night Michael and Anne-Marie started dating, he'd been dressed as a beer keg with a moustache. His moustache tiepin was a subtle nod to that very important evening. It was a playful addition to his classic navy blue suit.

The bride and groom chose the Cecil Green Park House for many reasons. It's situated on the university campus where they first met and has gorgeous grounds and gardens. It also is the same venue where Anne-Marie's sister was married 13 years earlier.

In addition to sharing a wedding venue, Anne-Marie and her sister both wore the same silver pumps to Anne-Marie and Michael's wedding.

With such a beautiful setting, the couple chose to keep the ceremony simple. Classic white chairs flanked the aisle, while scattered rose petals and flower arrangements on white pillars marked the altar. Anne-Marie's cousin officiated the traditional ceremony.

DIY projects included the invitations, programs, and signs. A silver rose motif tied it all together.

Anne-Marie, who'd added some extra beading around the neckline of her gown for a truly custom look, paired her dress with vintage-inspired jewelry.

Another one of Anne-Marie's DIY projects was the photo booth. She used card stock to create props like glasses, lips, crowns and moustaches, and built the structure out of PVC piping. A sheet of sequined fabric completed the backdrop. The photo booth was a hit with guests as they wandered the lawn during cocktail hour.

The bride and groom opted for a dessert buffet in order to offer guests a variety of sweet treats. Three small cakes were accompanied by cream puffs, macarons, and marshmallows.

The couple had their first dance to John Legend's "Stay With You." They shared their father-daughter and mother-son dance, choosing Louie Armstrong's "What A Wonderful World" for their spin around the dance floor with their parents.

The venue's gardens, terrace and indoor space provided plenty of room for the couple's 105 guests.

After the wedding, the couple took a mini-moon to Rockwater Resort on Halfmoon Bay in British Columbia. Two weeks later, the headed to Indonesia for a close friend's wedding, then extended their stay into a romantic honeymoon in Bali.

Mike and Anne-Marie have great advice for couples whose weddings are fast approaching: "Don't stress over the small stuff. Know that not everything will go exactly as planned... and that's ok," says Anne-Marie. "Make sure you take a few moments throughout the wedding day together (try and sneak off by yourselves and have a moment)."

"Once in a while...Right in the middle of an ordinary life...Love comes along and brings you a fairytale." From the proposal to the planning, ceremony to reception, Jennifer and Rob's Memphis, Tennessee wedding on April 27, 2013 was a fairytale, full of romantic and personal moments. Jennifer was completely surprised when Rob got down on one knee during a dinner celebrating her new job. The couple was surrounded by their friends and family as she said "yes!" and it was only natural that they said "I Do" in the same fashion.

Elegant romance was the vision, which Jennifer put together with help from her mother, her planner, and Pinterest. Blush, ivory, champagne, and a hint of pint created a dreamlike feel ideal for the evening celebration. And when the day finally came, Jennifer and Rob danced, ate and celebrated with the people they love most—especially one another.

For her 30th birthday, Rob took Jennifer to New York City and surprised her with a personal shopper for the day. She headed to Vera Wang, where she fell in love with a sleek strapless design with an intricate tulle skirt—a far cry from the embellished gown she'd pictured herself in.

Two lace garters, complete with pearl and crystal details, gave Jennifer's bridal ensemble a hidden touch of shine.

As Rob concluded his toast congratulating Jennifer on her new job, he looked at her and said "...and I want to take care of her for the rest of my life" and got down on one knee.

Crystal-embellished pumps shimmered beneath Jennifer's simple, elegant wedding gown.

For the formal church ceremony and elegant evening reception, Rob skipped the rental shop and purchased a suave custom tuxedo.

The silk ribbon on Jennifer's bouquet was fixed with a pearl brooch that belongs to her 100-year-old grandmother, as well as a tie bar from her late grandfather. Her grandmother wasn't able to attend, but the ceremony was streamed on Skype so that she could still be a part of the day.

White hydrangeas and peonies and blush garden roses matched the soft color scheme, while pink peonies added a pop of playful color.

The bridesmaids' bouquets featured blush garden roses and white hydrangeas, ranunculus and roses.

Jennifer's ten bridesmaids chose between strapless or one-shoulder chiffon gowns in blush. The simple shape flattered the clean, elegant design of Jennifer's gown.

The groomsmen wore tuxedos with bow ties, while Rob and the ring bearer wore straight ties for a slightly different look.

The couple's niece and goddaughter served as flower girls, while the bride's cousin's son was the ring bearer. The three were "so excited," performing beautifully even with such a long aisle in the church.

The fit-and-flare design of Jennifer's wedding dress beautifully flattered her curves. Waves of tulle on the skirt added visual interest and unique texture.

The ceremony took place at St. Peter Catholic Church in Memphis, but had both a Catholic priest and Methodist pastor perform the ceremony instead of having a full Catholic mass.

The church's ornate décor perfectly fit Jennifer and Rob's vision for a romantic fairytale wedding day.

Soft pink tulips and silver votive candles topped the tables, casting a warm glow over the room.

Tall silver candelabras, topped with tulips and peonies, were draped with crystals.

The wedding party's table was decorated with tall vases featuring submerged tulips and floating candles. Instead of favors, the couple offered their guests mint green cake pops and made a donation to the Humane Society in honor of their guests.

The ceiling was draped with soft tan fabric to create a romantic, intimate feel. Iron chandeliers covered in greenery were hung from the ceiling.

Each tier of Rob and Jennifer's wedding cake featured a different flavor, including raspberry, chocolate and strawberry. A delicate ivory lace pattern was piped on blush fondant, and the cake was topped with fresh pink peonies.

Guests were invited to leave notes and advice for the couple in an antique trunk.

The bride and groom left the ceremony in a shower of sparklers. Jennifer's advice for brides? "Just remember that, no matter what happens, this day is about you two. Make it special and don't worry about what everyone else thinks!"

Vera Wang Fall 2014 wedding dress collection was undoubtably pretty in pink. Bold coral and peony tulle lit up the runway. Oversized rosette appliqués were a jubilant touch to the punchy ball gowns and body-hugging mermaids.

A departure from her sleek and modern black-and-white collection of last season, you won't want to miss these feminine dresses rock the runway. Watch our favorite dresses walk the runway, above, and don't forget to browse Wang's entire Fall 2014 collection in our complete slideshow.

For Vera Wang's Fall 2014 wedding dress collection, the theme was "think pink!" And we're not talking about a muted blush or rose. The gowns that walked Wang's runway featured strikingly bold corals and punchy peony (with oversized rosettes hidden underneath layers of draping!).

This isn't the first time Wang has designed with color in mind—just last season she went in a modern direction with a sleek black-and-white line. Two seasons before that? A range of bold reds.

As if the engagement rings Vera Wang designed in collaboration with Zales weren't enough, the iconic wedding dress designer is expanding her bridal empire to include a seven-piece couture-quality collection also called Vera Wang LOVE.

Priced between $24,000 and $47,000, Wang's LOVE collection is designed to inspire with round, emerald and princess-cut center stones weighing in at more than 2 carats. Several of the pieces feature split-shank settings dotted with pavé diamonds. Each ring can be set in white gold, yellow gold, or rose gold, and features the designer's signature hidden sapphire stone on the band's interior.

"When I design a new collection I always think about how the details and quality of what we create can resonate with brides all over the world," explains the designer. "I draw inspiration from the experiences in my own life that I feel every bride can relate to. What makes the entire design process complete is what it says about a woman, that to me is what design is really about."

Vera Wang isn't the only designer to expand her bridal reach into fine jewelry design—Monique Lhuillier collaborated with Blue Nile to create a 23-piece engagement ring collection last fall.

See the entire Vera Wang LOVE collection below. All new boutique rings are sold exclusively online at VeraWangLOVE.com, and, beginning in early 2014, at select Vera Wang boutiques nationwide.

Supermodel Chrissy Teigen wed singer/songwriter John Legend this past week donning not one, not two, but three Vera Wang wedding dresses!

The first, photographed above, was a strapless ivory V-neck ball gown with a lifted tulle skirt and hand-cut petal embroidered details. For the reception, the bride slipped into another strapless gown, this dress featuring a mermaid silhouette with a micro-pleated bodice and shirred organza skirt. The third and final gown—a crimson strapless mermaid with a hand-draped bodice and crystal detailing—hit the dance floor for the after party.

According to People, the couple tied the knot in Lake Como, Italy this past Saturday in front of 125 of their nearest and dearest (including mega-stars like Kanye West and Stevie Wonder). The reception included an emotional performance by Legend of his song "All of Me," and dancing to Beyonce's hit "Love on Top," which Teigen later admitted on Twitter made her cry.

We're so happy for this couple to say "I do" after their seven year-long courtship. Congrats to the beautiful bride and groom!
