This is it... The final countdown to your big day. And along with settling those last few details — figuring out where to seat your eccentric Uncle Carl, firming up the flowers — you're likely also making one last push to make sure the body that will be wearing that gorgeous white gown looks as good as it possibly can. You and nearly every other woman with an engagement ring on her finger. In fact, research shows that an overwhelming 91 percent of brides-to-be are anxious about their weight. But from here on out, you won't have to be!

Whether you want to drop those last few pounds or look more toned — or both — we've got a month's worth of daily tips (none of which require starving yourself or working out nonstop!) that will help you feel stunning and confident when you walk down that aisle. You know where to send the thank-you card. Let's get started!

Day 30: Do Push-Ups Right Before Putting On Your Wedding Gown

Today's the day! And we're thrilled for you! Savor every moment of this special event. Wondering why we're suggesting a mini workout moment before you walk down the aisle?

"It's actually an old trick bodybuilders use before a competition. It directs blood flow to your muscles and makes them pop a little bit," notes Pete McCall, an exercise physiologist and personal trainer in San Diego. He recommends doing two sets of 10 to 15 push-ups and chair dips to enhance all that great shoulder and back definition you've been working on.

See More: 4 Ways to Keep the Pounds Off and Your Confidence Up Post-Wedding

This "pop" doesn't last very long, so take two minutes before you get dressed to bang out these moves. (Don't worry, you won't even get close to breaking a sweat.) That little bit of exercise might also help keep butterflies at bay — physical activity is a well-known stress buster.

Then slip on that killer gown, sip a glass of bubbly, and get ready to slay them down the aisle. We wish you joy-filled "I do's" that go off flawlessly.

This is it... The final countdown to your big day. And along with settling those last few details — figuring out where to seat your eccentric Uncle Carl, firming up the flowers, deciding on your first dance song — you're likely also making one last push to make sure the body that will be wearing that gorgeous white gown looks as good as it possibly can. You and nearly every other woman with an engagement ring on her finger. In fact, research shows that an overwhelming 91 percent of brides-to-be are anxious about their weight. Day 29: Mangia, Mangia!

We get that the stress and activity leading up to B Day (Bride Day!) may make your appetite tank. Plus, there's a wedding dress you want to fit perfectly into. But whatever you do, don't skip meals or deprive yourself. It backfires 100 percent of the time.

"You'll wind up overeating and your body will store those calories as fat because it fears starvation," notes Vandana Sheth, R.D.N., a spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. In other words, the exact opposite of what you want to happen will happen. "Make sure you eat small, frequent meals and snacks that have a mix of protein and complex carbs, like a little turkey on a whole grain cracker."

And promise us you won't skip eating on your wedding day, too. "So many brides are too nervous to eat — or want to save all those calories for the cocktail hour and reception. But that can be disastrous," says Sheth. "You have a lot of toasts coming your way and if you don't have anything in your system, well, you want to remember your wedding, right?"

She suggests having something simple for breakfast — even if it's a slice of whole-wheat toast with a little peanut butter. "And have at least small things throughout the day — a container of Greek yogurt, some fruit and nuts — to keep your energy and attitude up," adds Sheth. "You can put your bridesmaids in charge of making sure you eat."

Day 28: Banish Bloat

The foods you eat during the next three days could make the difference between feeling lean and light, or wanting to pull on two layers of Spanx.

"Eating veggies like onions, broccoli, cabbage, kale and cauliflower — as nutritionally wonderful as they are — can cause gas. As can fizzy beverages (champagne included!)," says Vandana Sheth, R.D.N., a spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. And, of course, steer clear of high sodium foods, which can cause serious water retention and bloating.

Check food labels before you dig in, because a surprising number of items — from bottled salad dressings to pasta sauces — are super high in the stuff. One brand of Italian dressing we came across had nearly 500 milligrams of sodium per serving — equal to about three servings of salty potato chips. You don't need to count sodium grams all day, but as a general rule, if it has more than 300 milligrams per serving, skip it.

As for what to eat? Sheth recommends fruits and veggies that have a high water content — like cucumbers, celery, grapes and watermelon — which can actually help reduce any bloat you have. Dig in!

Day 26: Add Some Fun (And Effective!) Toning Moves To Your Routine

If your strength workout is beginning to feel a little ho-hum, make it interesting again by subbing in these three moves: Bear Crawls, Lateral Crawls, and Crab Walks (how-to's follow).

"The combination of these exercises gives you a metabolic boost and hits just about every muscle in your body," says exercise physiologist Neal Pire, a spokesperson for the American College of Sports Medicine. Get to it, girl.

Bear Crawls: Get down on all fours, hover knees just above the floor and crawl forward on your hands and feet, keeping your body as low to the ground as possible. Try two sets of 20.

Lateral Crawls: Get down on all fours, hover knees just above the floor and walk right hand and foot out to the side, followed by your left hand and foot. Do 10 lateral walks to the right, then switch directions and do 10 reps to the left. Do two sets.

Crab Walks: Sit on the floor with your knees bent and feet flat; place your hands behind you, fingertips facing your butt. Lift hips off the floor and walk your hands and feet, moving backward for 10 reps (keep hips up high as you "walk"), then do 10 moving forward. Do two sets.

Day 25: Remember: Bad Days Are Okay

According to the National Weight Control Registry, which collects data on the habits of 10,000-plus people who have lost weight and kept it off, being able to immediately recover when you slip up — you miss a few days worth of workouts, for example, or can't resist the loaded nachos — is one of the key predictors of weight loss success.

So rather than beat yourself up about it, think of it this way: "Every meal, every snack is a fresh start. So if you fall off, pick right back up," says Vandana Sheth, R.D.N., a spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

Beverly Hills-based celebrity trainer Gunnar Peterson, who famously got Kim Kardashian ready for her wedding to Kanye West, has a more tongue-in-cheek (but totally true) take: "Look, he proposed to you before you started this diet and exercise kick. Calm down!"

Day 24: Dot Your I's And Cross Your T's

Up the intensity of your shoulder- and back-defining workout by adding in a few new moves.

Exercise physiologist Neal Pire, a spokesperson for the American College of Sports Medicine, recommends the following series of easy-to-do — but challenging — exercises. They're also incredible for your posture. "And they're an awesome way to shape up these key muscles, which are especially important if you're going to be wearing a strapless gown," says Pire. For more of a challenge, you can add in light dumbbells. Pull up a ball and get started!

I's, Y's, and T's: Lie face down on a large, air-filled exercise ball or ottoman (it should be directly under hips). Place palms on the floor and extend your legs wide, toes resting on the floor for balance.

From here, lift and extend arms, palms facing each other, until they're directly over your shoulders in an "I." Lower to the starting position, then lift back up, palms facing the floor and extend arms overhead to form a "Y." Lower to the starting position and lift arms directly out to the sides, palms down, to form a "T."

Do two sets of 15 reps.

Day 23: Sip This A-List Approved Belly Flattener

"A week before a big event, I have all my clients sip parsley broth — and they're obsessed with how effective it is," says Rachel Beller, R.D., of Beller Nutritional Institute in Beverly Hills and author of Power Souping.

That's because parsley is a diuretic, and Beller's beloved concoction has the added benefit of eliminating gas and bloating, too.

Here's what to do: Put a bunch of parsley in a pot with three cups of water and a tablespoon of fennel seeds. Add a few slices of fresh ginger root and simmer the mixture for 20 minutes. Strain the solids and sip one cup of the broth.

Bonus points for nibbling on the ginger — it's amazing for digestion. Save the extra servings and enjoy them either chilled or reheated.

"Have this broth once a day every day until your wedding and you won't believe how flat your stomach will feel," says Beller.

Day 22: Steer Clear of Processed Foods

A growing body of evidence suggests that highly processed foods contain chemicals that cause inflammation in the body and, in turn, promote obesity by fooling our taste buds in a way that blunts our internal satiety cues causing us to overeat.

Processed foods are also deliberately engineered to make you crave them, lighting up the same "reward" area of the brain that drugs like cocaine do, says Rachel Beller, R.D., of Beller Nutritional Institute in Beverly Hills and author of Power Souping. Yikes!

See More: Cook Your Way to a Perfect Bridal Body with These 3 Recipes

Odds are you've already cut out a bunch of these foods as part of your wedding diet (Sigh... Potato chips), but there are lots of seemingly healthy options — like whole grain crackers, or low-cal frozen dinners — that are still über-processed.

Read food labels and steer clear of anything with long ingredients lists or unpronounceable Frankengredients. Generally, if it comes in a bag or box and has a long shelf life, you don't want to know from it.

Instead, shop the perimeter of the store, where the whole foods like fruits, veggies, lean meat and dairy live, and make sure the majority of your cart is filled with those good guys.

"Spicy foods are really hot right now — forgive the pun," says Rachel Beller, R.D., of Beller Nutritional Institute in Beverly Hills and author of Power Souping.

"Before awards show season, many of my actress clients start putting Sriracha and hot peppers on everything. It enhances the flavor of your food in a calorie-free way, and has been shown to bump up your metabolism. And before hitting the red carpet they — like you — want every edge they can get."

A study done at the University of California, Los Angeles found that a substance called capsaicin, which gives hot peppers their heat, causes your metabolism to double in speed, and stay elevated for several hours after eating a spicy meal. That can translate to an extra 100 to 200 calorie burn a day.

Get that hot sauce ready!

You know where to send the thank-you card. Let's get started!

Day 20: Exercise First Thing in The Morning

As hard as it may be to drag yourself out of a warm, cozy bed at 6 A.M. to workout, it could do amazing things for your body. (#Worthit!) Research shows that exercising first thing in a "fasted state" — meaning, before you eat anything — can jack up your workout's fat-burning effects.

"There are a couple of reasons why this works. First, levels of cortisol — a hormone that promotes fat metabolism for energy — are higher in the morning, so if you work out with no food in your system, it leads to higher amounts of fat burning," says Pete McCall, an exercise physiologist and personal trainer in San Diego.

"Also, because your body burns calories even when you're sleeping, by the time you get up in the morning there are lower levels of carbohydrates in your system that are available for fuel — so your body has to rely on fat stores as its main source of energy."

To maximize the effect, he recommends keeping your workout to 30 to 40 minutes — no matter what kind of exercise you do in the A.M. And yes, it's okay to have coffee with a splash of milk first. A girl has to wake up, after all!

You can also have a low-glycemic snack — like an apple, or half of a whole wheat English muffin with a little peanut butter — if your stomach is really rumbling pre-workout. But nothing too sugary, or your insulin levels will rise — which has the opposite effect of helping to promote fat storage.
